nat i onal average t hat has i ncreased 4. 1 cent s per gal l on i n t he l ast week t o $2. 90/g, according to gasoline price website NewOrleansGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in New Orleans during the past week, prices yesterday
were 77.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 3.4 cents per
gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 7.9 cents per gallon
during the last month and stands 84.3 cents per gallon higher than this day a year ago.
